Autographs
|
Taken my young son a couple of times to get autographs outside the main entrance and must admit some of the players give the kids plenty of their time but some should be ashamed of themselves. Noble, Jarvis, Amalfitano, Sakho, Valencia, Cresswell, Tomkins, Adrian are the ones who have plenty of time for everyone. But CFC, Nolan, Ginge don't seem to bother. A special mention to Song who doesn't even have the decency to look in the kids direction. Knobend.

CFC is pretty good as well, maybe just an off day. He's still got a good collection of autographs, that's the main thing.

If I were a top footballer I would try very hard to look directly at the children and converse a little even If it is not one on one and you are talking in bits and bobs, because It does not last very long soon you are yesterdays news and memories of walking in and out of coaches like a superstar will be a thing of the past.

Noble, Cresswell and Jarvis have had little chats with my son and it meant the world to him.

Exactly It means the world to the Kids, and footballers were Kids once, I know they are not that Intelligent but surely even footballers can work that out.

I took my boy to the training ground before Christmas and they all signed with the exception of Amalfitano and Jarvis. Nolan was especially decent and spoke to everyone but they were all chatty with fans there.

Maybe I will take him down the training ground then. What time and when is the best days. Does it get really busy?

Re: Autographs

I took him during half term and it was busier than normal apparently as the 'professionals' told me. A lot of kids acting the dick, pissing about and asking the players for spare boots which doesn't help. It would be better on a school day if you can.
From about 12:30 is when they start leaving.

Not exactly footie related but have approached boxers Ricky Hatton (peoples champ) in the past who was a complete knob and had his entourage politely tell me to fuck off and at the same time met David Haye (a supposed cocky cunt) who was more than happy to sign autographs, have a good chat and came across as a genuinely good egg
